More that a 1969 Mustang is worth. You are better off buying one that someone else already restored. It would cost $20-$30,000 to do the job right

"Restore"?? What kind of restoration does it need? Body, paint only? Or are there major rust areas and dent/dings?

How's the interior? Merely dirty? Ripped and faded?

Engine? Running well or badly in need of an overhaul?

Transmission and running gear? Working well, or held together by spit and baling wire?

Wheels and tires? Good, clean and usable? Or junk?

Windows and glass? Operating well or cracked and stuck in a down or up position?

All the areas and more will have a major impact on your expenditure. The general rule of thumb is budget an amount you are willing or able to spend, then triple it! Good luck!
