Evolution is a lie. You are required to take it as a class, yet Creationism isn't. Is that fair? Is it the fact that if both were required, yet you could choose which course, that Evolution would come up with the short end of the stick? Or maybe it's evidence wouldn't stack up like Creationists? Again, this was an issue before called "The California Textbook Trial."
Oh. By the way THIS is a flaw with Evolution from the start.
Evolution is more of myth and folklore than the Bible. Magic lizards turning into birds? Apes turning into humans?

Religion? Logical? I want some of whatever you're smoking.
If science's findings were backing up religious dogma, you wouldn't have any problem with it, btw.
Read up on evolution--there is plenty of evidence supporting it. If there weren't, scientists wouldn't still be studying it...because scientists look for the truth, even when it is surprising.
Unlike religion, which believes all truth exists in a book written before we even knew germs caused disease. Wait a minute, germs aren't mentioned in the Bible--that must mean they don't exist! Because it's not possible the book is wrong, correct?

Evolution is not an unverifiable hypothesis! That's why it has been elevated to the exalted status of a scientific theory! A theory, by definiton, is a hypothesis that has been subjected to intensive testing, is now supported by abundant scientific evidence, and provides the best possible explantion of the observed facts.
However, I do not "base my life" on my knowledge of biological evolution, any more than I "base my life" on my knowledge of plant succession or photosynthesis or continental drift, or any of the other wondrous natural processes that are at work in God's Creation.

As used in science, a theory is an explanation or model based on observation, experimentation, and reasoning, especially one that has been tested and confirmed as a general principle helping to explain and predict natural phenomena.
A religion is a set of common beliefs and practices generally held by a group of people, often codified as prayer, ritual, and religious law. Religion also encompasses ancestral or cultural traditions, writings, history, and mythology, as well as personal faith and mystic experience. The term "religion" refers to both the personal practices related to communal faith and to group rituals and communication stemming from shared conviction.
Yes, I find it very strange that people base their lives on hypocritical value systems forged in the caves 1000s of years ago rather than logic and science.
cheers!

I think Em Adjineri (whoever that is) has got his wires crossed. To define a scientific theory as a random guess is factually incorrect.

Frankly, the only theory I base my life on is the theory of death (or lack thereof for as long as possible). And, sorry, I didn't mean to call you Frankly...

Creation scientists are not. Scientific guesses ain't. Science is based on fact, religion on faith. We don't live by the fact of evolution but you live by your dogma.
