"In the beginning was the WORD. And the WORD was with God, and the WORD WAS GOD.
HE WAS IN THE BEGINNIG WITH GOD.
All things were made THROUGH HIM, AND WITHOUT HIM, NOTHING WAS MADE.
In HIM was LIFE, and the LIFE was the LIGHT of men.
And the LIGHT shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.
John 1:1-5
"Then they said to HIm, 'Where is your Father?' And Jesus answered, 'You know neither Me nor My Father. IF YOU HAD KNOWN ME, YOU WOULD HAVE KNOWN MY FATHER, ALSO." John8:19
Jesus said to them "Most assuredly I say to you, before Abraham, I AM." John 9:58
"I am the Good Shepherd." John 10:14
"I and My Father ARE ONE." John 10:30
"Thomas said to Him, 'Lord, we do not know where you are going and how can we know the way?' Jesus said to him, 'I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. If you had know Me, you would have known My Father also; and from now on you know Him and HAVE SEEN HIM."
Phillip said to Him, 'Lord, show us the Father, and it is sufficient for us.'
Jesus said to him. 'Have I been with you so long, and yet you have not known Me, Phillip? He who has seen Me has seen the Father; so how can you say, 'Show us the Father?'" John 14:5-9
"I Am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last." Rev.1:11
I believe Jesus is who He said He is. God Almighty. Alpha and the Omega. The Word made flesh.

"Behold, He comes with the clouds, and every eye will see Him, and those who pierced Him will see Him, and all the kindreds of the earth will wail because of Him. Even so, Amen. I am the Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the Ending, says the Lord, who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty."
(Rev 1:7-8)
"I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the Ending,
the First and the Last."
"I, Jesus, have sent My angel to testify these things to you over the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, the bright and Morning Star."
(Rev 22:13 & 16)

I know the real Jesus.
Jesus is a friend of mine.
The Nicene Creed summarizes what most Christians know to be true about him.
We believe (I believe) in one God, the Father Almighty, maker of heaven and earth, and of all things visible and invisible. And in one Lord Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God, and born of the Father before all ages. (God of God) light of light, true God of true God. Begotten not made, consubstantial to the Father, by whom all things were made. Who for us men and for our salvation came down from heaven. And was incarnate of the Holy Ghost and of the Virgin Mary and was made man; was crucified also for us under Pontius Pilate, suffered and was buried; and the third day rose again according to the Scriptures. And ascended into heaven, sits at the right hand of the Father, and shall come again with glory to judge the living and the dead, of whose Kingdom there shall be no end. And (I believe) in the Holy Ghost, the Lord and Giver of life, who proceeds from the Father (and the Son), who together with the Father and the Son is to be adored and glorified, who spoke by the Prophets. And one holy, catholic, and apostolic Church. We confess (I confess) one baptism for the remission of sins. And we look for (I look for) the resurrection of the dead and the life of the world to come. Amen."

Jesus is God's son, a man, yet to come again (I don't think it'll be in my life time), and not white. Seriously, look where he comes from. The middle east (Bethlehem, Israel, Egypt even). I think Jesus looked middle eastern. Talk about rocking the foundation of the church.

Important question. We know from historical records that he was a Jewish teacher in the first century, the son of Mary, that he gathered disciples, that he suffered and died a cruel death by torture, and that he rose from the dead as an amazing vindication of the truth of his Gospel.
Isaiah made a prophesy about the Messiah (Chap. 53):
2 He grew up before him like a tender shoot,
and like a root out of dry ground.
He had no beauty or majesty to attract us to him,
nothing in his appearance that we should desire him.
3 He was despised and rejected by men,
a man of sorrows, and familiar with suffering.
Like one from whom men hide their faces
he was despised, and we esteemed him not.
4 Surely he took up our infirmities
and carried our sorrows,
yet we considered him stricken by God,
smitten by him, and afflicted.
5 But he was pierced for our transgressions,
he was crushed for our iniquities;
the punishment that brought us peace was upon him,
and by his wounds we are healed.

Jesus was God incarnate (in the flesh). He proved He was by dying and raising from the dead on the 3rd day and ascending into heaven bodily.
I didn't say it, God's Word says it, I believe it and that settles it.
