A good question! A star is on it's way!
Time & are we on the edge of time? Well where do we start?
Some say that time is infante while others say it isan't. So I would say that we are at the edge of time, but as time is always expanding we will not fall off the edge, until time catches us up and Dr Death will be waiting!

You would need to elaborate in laymen's terms what you mean by 'edge'.
For argument's sake let's suppose you meant 'age' or 'era' then I would say we are close to a significant shift in fortunes as ecological events unfold but I wouldn't argue right now this signifies an edge or end of time.
Certainly some political, economic, social structures are going to collapse with a spiritual revival and a spiritual backlash coming out as a consequence - like it always does in social history.
If you meant time itself as having a kind of 'shelf life' in eternity when an irreversable change occurs and everything is transformed in a moment - as Jesus hinted - where mortality is exposed to the other reality of immortality in a terrible moment of seeing clearly what the 'edge' actually entails. Well, that is quite likely also. I wouldn't rule out anything.
Even if it was all baloney I would rather be ready and have my wick trimmed just in case. Look what happened to Israel, they lost everything because they didn't listen and they are still gnashing their teeth today. (Oh yes, they have a piece of land but no peace.)

Yes. The edge is defined by that point where Future turns to Past. It's called "the Present."

Yes we are in fact on the edge of "time/no time" the fourth dimension and beyond.Time doesn't exist,its a manmade concept to measure our linear existence in physicality.

according to Hawkwind we are the warriors on the edge of time.But personally I'm not so sure

But how can Multiplexity1 say that times doesn't exist? It seems to me to be the fundamental quality of existence.
The perception of time may be debatable, but that time exists seems to be beyond question.
