NO!!! I chew it hard lots of times. I like to chew gum when I am driving.
You can loose a few pounds chewing gum over a year. A form of exercise - face muscle
It keeps me from mouthing off at people.

I guess it could. Only you can know that. Just because you chew your gum hard can mean a lot of things, or nothing at all.
