absolutly that is why you get the males fixed like number one reason why,i had a cousin who wouldnt do it to her cat and she let it spray everything for like 2 months then finally she did it and he stopped but by that time her **** was all ruined so my advice is to make a appointment asap.I have 2 males that are nuetered and thank god not once have they tryed to spray.They cut out the part in there sac that allows them to spray.

HAHAHA.. sorry not laughing at you.. i had the same experience.. i was sleeping and my cat sprayed my face.. it was so gross...it was time to get him fixed.. and yes it stop the spraying...if you call your local spca, they might give you a discount price. i got my cat fixed for 10 dollars for a drive thing they were having...

You'll also want to make sure he doesn't have a urinary tract infection.

Once he's been fixed and you're sure he has no other problems, you'll have to break him of marking your bed. Try covering it with a plastic tarp, until your kitty gets used to the idea that he has to use the box.

Potentially, yes.

But first take him to the vet. He might just be having a health issue, which oftentimes results in a cat not using the litter box.

I cannot stress this enough: It might be a health issue, not a behavioral issue.

It will definitely help to get him neutered!!!!! However, there is a chance he may still do it as a behavioral issue. Get him fixed first, and see if that works!

at this point it might be habitual...sorry...get him fixed and see if it stops...dont expect results right away tho give him a few weeks ....if he still does it just dont let him in the room and maybe after a few months of not being in there he will quit...gl !!!!
