the point is i like him. i really like him. i like him so much and i know we would be good for eachother. his family is friends with mine (he has two older sisters) we all get along real well, it wouldnt be akward with the whole "meet the family situation." its perfect right?
well here is the thing...
he has never been in a relationship before.
he is kinda shy and unexpierenced when it comes to girls.
so this summer i decided to go ahead and hang out with him a lot more, really get to know him and hang out ALONE. our friendship has finally reached the point where it is causal and we are comterable with eachother.
ive heard he likes me from several sources, but even though it was good to hear i am not completely convinced.
he told his best friend that he just didnt know is he was ready to be in a relationship?
so im stuck. what should i do? how can i change his mind?
i mean i know he is scared but so am i, i just want to find a way this can work!

you could always initiate first contact. er... try kissing him on the cheek if you get a chance.
well lets see... relationships are hard... you have to get inside the other person's head. and see things through their eyes, feel through their heart- you know... but look, if it looks good, go for it. after all, what do you have to loose?
and look, generally it seems the guy asks the girl, but us guys really do like it when you ask us, and that's where the aforementioned peck on the cheek comes in, look, it's a simple way to get his attention.

Well, try this. When you two are alone, just ask him if he likes you. If he says what and acts shy, just tell him you know he is scared and so are you. Tell him you like him and want to be in a realationship with him. Tell him how you feel and see what his reaction is. Being forward with him is the only way to get a real honest answer. If you don't like this approach, just email me back and I'll help you figure out another way. I have done this many times and it usually works.

You have gone this far and it is to soon to quit. He is afraid that he will mess up and you will not want to ever see him again. Be up front with him and tell him that you want to have a relationship that both of you will work on. By the way a good relationship is hard work. Be sure to care about and for each other. You will have fights but be sure it doesn't cause either one of you to disrespect each other.

well, you just gotta talk to him. tell him that you want to have an open and serious convo with him and tell him how you feel. if you want this relationship, then that's what you should do. you're obviously sick and tired of being stuck in limbo so make a move. just remember that he's inexperienced when it comes to relationships so you gotta be patient with him. let him know what you're thinking. guys aren't mind-readers. trust me.

SOMETIMES GUYS NEED A LITTLE PUSH.
GO SOMEWHERE FOR A WEEK AND DO NOT CONTACT HIM AT ALL.
JUST TELL HIM YOU ARE GOING TO BE GONE FOR AWHILE....
DO IT AND SEE HOW HE REACTS WHEN YOU SEE HIM NEXT TIME....YOU WILL BE ABLE TO TELL IF HE REALLY MISSED YOU.
IF HE IS TELLING SOMEONE ELSE THAT HE DOESN'T KNOW IF HE IS READY FOR A RELATIONSHIP THEN I WOULD JUST BACK OFF FOR AWHILE AND NOT ALWAYS BE "AVAILABLE" GET THE MESSAGE??
WHEN HE FINDS OUT YOU MAY GET AWAY THEN HE WILL CHANGE....IITS KINDA LIKE FISHING!

You should tell him or have one of your friends tell him that you like him but before you do that make sure he's ready to have a relationship with you. Good luck!!!!

nobody is ready for a relationship untill they experience the first one. yes he is unsure but if you really like him you should ask him out.
