If someone does not believe in god, and they feel they have meaning in their life and it makes them happy, does anyone have the right to openly condemn what they do not believe?

Why do some christians condemn this lifestyle?

I'm going to be perfectly honest for a change... I'm a Christian, and I fully believe everything in Scripture.

However, like I said, I'm going to be honest. People these days really get on my nerves, because they are completely ungrateful. Disgustingly so. The news that we Christians have is the BEST news that can possibly be offered, yet it is constantly scoffed at because man wants to be God instead, for whatever reason, I've yet to understand why. I just don't understand people.

If Jesus himself didn't command us to teach other people truth, I probably wouldn't. Because my (and other's) duty is COMPLETELY thankless. I do not derive personal pleasure in arguing with others who have no desire to listen at all, and don't want a free, awesome gift.

It's like offering $100,000,000 to a 15 year old kid, and seeing him reject it, and even getting angry at you. It completely blows my mind.

That said, to fully answer your question, we condemn certain lifestyles because we want the person to lead a BETTER life and to have security in the ETERNAL. You might have more "fun" here on earth doing as you please, but that is what, 80, 100 years, maybe even 150, depending on how medical science advances in this century. That is like a a grain of sand... no... a molecule of the whole ocean compared to eternity.

Witnessing to today's generation is quite possibly the most difficult of any generation to date... evolution and moral relativism has swallowed so many blind followers.

It would be one thing if Christianity was just another religion in the pile along Buddhism, Islam, etc... but Christianity is the sole truth, and none other can truthfully say this. Both science AND history confirms the authority of the Bible.

They can't fathom someone having a different perspective. But it isn't all christians, just most of the ones that live in the United States. Since they've never had any real religious competition (most of the churches in their area are just different variations of christianity) they think that their way is the only way, and anyone that doesn't think so is crazy. I wonder how these people would feel if they lived in Iran or Pakistan, or even in early 15th century America? I'm willing to bet they would be of a different religious mindset.

It is a free country. A person can agree or disagree with whatever they like.
Xtianity is like a cult. It is a form of self delusion. They think that they are ''better'' than anyone who is not like them Xtians are on a power trip.

Everyone in America has the "right" to criticize anything. But that doesn't necessarily make it proper.

True and faithful Christians wish for all to join them in paradise, and on the new earth which will come out of the present tribulations with an absence of rapture. The Son is here to guide his people, and so is the Beast, who may not be number specific. Christians have every right to try to save as many souls as possible from the coming times.

I would say, no one has any right over you

most religions tout Power, Control, Authority as what is important to their faith as reasons to control and manipulate you

Life has no meaning if you're wasting it separated from God.

Earthly things that make you happy are just distractions from the terrible things in this world. True happiness comes when you've found the ticket to eternal life. God bless.
