A better question would be "how much can a single EMPLOYED mother MAKE to support her 14 year old child?"
And just to clalify, you would not get paid anything for child support, the child would. It's not for YOU!

I assume you mean child support? If so, it depends on the calculation / formula that the court uses. Does the father earn a lot of money?

Unemployment is Totally based on your earnings from the previous 12 months .
Single person or parent would get the same for the same wages .
But if NO wages , then , No payments .
( not even if you have a starving 1 month old baby )

well if you get TANF through the foodstamp office it will be about 290 dollars. Do you get paid child support. If not Tanf will help you find the father and get money from him. you need to check with your local Foodstamp office

if its uk tax credits pay £47 a week child benefit is around £18

if you mean child benefit then its £18.50 on top of income support/tax credit. if you mean child support then it all depends on what the father is earning
