Today is the day for salvation

I have been praying the last couple of days for people on yahoo and the Holy Spirit is calling someone today to give their life to Jesus. Are you tired of the way your life has been going? Are you living in bondage of lust. alcoholism, drugs or even witchcraft. Just give your life to Jesus and you will become a free person. He came to give you life and life more abundant.

Pray the following "Jesus come into my life. Be my Lord and Savior today. I repent of my sins. I am tired of living this life and need you to change life's situations for me. I want to live for you the rest of my life"

If you meant this prayer you are now born-again and going to heaven. Start reading your Bible and find a good church. Ask Jesus to guide you everyday, He will. He will also send you other Christians to love and encourage you. This is the greatest decision you have ever made. Jesus Loves You and is going to bless your life.

I believe this question is appropriate in the forum for religious questions and answers. I feel the answer people should give is one of these three: 1) Yes today is the day, I agree to pray, and accept Jesus as my savior; 2) Yes today is the day for others and I have already accepted Jesus; or 3) no, today is not the day, I'm not ready for or interested in Jesus. Just take the question seriously and say yes or no in your answer and tell why. My answer is 2) yes today is the day for others and I've already accepted Jesus Christ as my savior.

Guess what? I don't have problems with lust, alcoholism drugs or even witchcraft. Witchcraft. shows what you know. I am a free person. Much more free then you are. My life is abundant. I don't want for much.

And now, as I said unto you before, as ye have had so many witnesses, therefore, I beseech of you that ye DO NOT PROCRASTINATE the day of your repentance until the end; for after this day of life, which is given us to prepare for eternity, behold, if we do not improve our time while in this life, then cometh the night of darkness wherein there can be no labor performed.

I have no doubt that you are at least semi-sincere. But a word advice....

It sounds like a poor cut and paste car advert, or one of those hypnosis CD thingies people exhort you to purchase on an easy 12 payment plan.

"Are you tired of....?"
"This is the greatest decision you ever made..."

etc...

Good luck. Although I don't think it is a sane pursuit.

I never knew that saying this means a person is saved. I didn't know God said this was so. I didn't know before that you had the authority to say it is so. Wowwwwwwwwwwww...

Copy and Paste is a waste of space and in bad taste.
Seriously quit copying and pasting stuff from your favorite Christian website.

Sign me up! Your brilliant copy/paste rant has opened my eyes, and Now I am ready to convert!

Pssh! Really, has this approach to proselytizing EVER worked for you? Or for ANYONE for that matter?

Try just honestly answering and asking questions. You get more flies with honey than with copy/paste drivel.
