i work in a factory, we have this manual conveyor belt we slide the boxes on. I had an argument with a co-worker, i say if i added a belt over the conveyor that i could jog on the belt, he says it would get too fast. What do you think?

If it's level, you could probably jog for a while before you'd actually run off the end, but if there were on an incline, I think it'd present a problem. I've seen how fast those rollers go.

You can buy exercise equipment: a 'manual' treadmill (one that doesn't have a motor), and it works on the same principle as what you propose, so yes it would work. You would have to set up bars to hold onto (as in any kind of treadmill exercise equipment).

If you tried to just jog on the belt-covered conveyer without handrails, you would have a hard time keeping your balance.
