I dreamt I stole a baby from a hospital. We shrunk to small size to sneak out of the hospital. Then...?

... we returned to normal size when we were out. This was all after I mysteriously woke up in the hospital.

I don't even want a baby, and I haven't been to a hospital in years.

Any ideas?

Here's a guess: Your love for children is criminalized in your mind and your regression to child size is the natural child identification in your parent/adult/child ego cycle. Why you would feel guilt for wanting to care for a child I don't know. Perhaps you feel it runs contrary to your rational for denying for your self children (the world is so bad it would be unconscionable to create children who would feel the pain of existence).


The Will is positive, the Judgment is negative.

The shrinking part seems clear, in cartoons when someone sneaks they hunch down making themselves smaller. If you are young then you probably associate having a baby at a young age as bad, stealing is also bad. Hormones can cause woman to think about babies but you see it as being a bad thing to do right now. Hospitals are where babies are, so you had to be there to get the baby.

Maybe consciously you don't think you want a child but subconsciously you do. Maybe you are in for a surprise and your dream is prophetic except the shrinking part.
