I got pregnant with my son a couple of week before turning 34. I have no problems getting pregnant, but due to being a diabetic I had a hard time making it to term. Just make sure to keep yourself healthy and you should have no problems.

I had my kids when I was 22, 27, 34, and almost 36. I never had any trouble conceiving or delivering any of them. The pregnancy with my third was probably the hardest in terms of feeling tired and ill (plus I swelled up like a balloon in about my sixth month and stayed that way until after delivery), but it was actually the easiest delivery of all of them. The easiest pregnancy overall was my fourth, and the labor was pretty easy as well, although the delivery turned out to be a bit more of a feat because this stubborn child just didn't want to come down! LOL. In any case, I don't think your age will be a problem. I'm 38 and in good health, and if we weren't already done having kids (which we are), I wouldn't consider my age any obstacle whatsoever to having another baby. If you haven't had a hard time conceiving in the past, especially if you just had a baby a couple of years ago, I wouldn't think you'd have much trouble this time. Good luck to you!

I'm 33 now and will have turned 34 before I deliver my current child.
Kudos to you for having your priorities straight!
Fertility isn't usually an issue until age 35. Many women can and do become pregnant naturally after that age, but that's when doctors start watching you a little closer. That gives you 12 years to get things in order and enjoy life before moving on to the next chapter of having children. :o)

Great choice, go to nursing school and if you have it in you...finish w/ a degree as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (salaries range from FL $129,000 to TX $250,000). I got married at 35 and pregnant at 36. Noah's 9mths old now and he's PERFECT :) We're going to plan on another baby when Noah turns 2.

30's is young! I had my first child at 30 and my 3rd at 36. A close friend just had her 3rd at 40. The risks increase slightly at 36 - but if you are healthy there shouldn't be any major concerns.

I am 34 and pregnant with my first child. We did need to get a little fertility help, but it had nothing to do with age.

The expense of having and raising children continues to rise every year. I do not believe that people ever feel 100% financially stable enough to have children. There will be many sacrifices and unforseen expenses along the way, regardless of whether or not you think you were financially stable when you had your children.
IN MY OWN OPINION, if you wait until you're financially stable, it won't happen because you'll probably never feel stable enough to suit yourself. Have your children while you're young enough to enjoy them! It's an experience you'll never forget or regret.
