Not neccessarily. But they appreciated and valued the input, the thought process that went into the response.

Parents and religious leaders are responsible for teaching children morals ...But to say a teacher isn't responsible for morals is not altogether true your child spends almost 5-8 hours a day with his/her teacher they encourage your child to learn, to be creative, to go to the next level in learning, they also have discpline in the class when there is unacceptable behavior..teachers play a major role in molding a child's future ...if you show up to your child's school and a prostitue with a master's degree is teaching that day ..what would you do? Teachers influence morals

Generally, yes I do. Most people just want someone to agree with them.
But I have seen several people choose a best answer that is completely in opposition to their standpoint. Usually it is because the person did their research, or made a valid point and was able to back it up. Those people make this place worth visiting!

Actually, I think that most people here do not even understand what ethics and morality MEAN... and how they differ.
Ethics is 'theory'... the guidelines by which you INTEND to comport yourself in life.
Morality is 'practice'... how well you actually DO, with regard to living up to the standard of your 'ethics'.
“The ethical man knows he shouldn’t cheat on his wife, whereas the moral man actually wouldn’t.” ~ Dr. Donald “Ducky” Mallard (David McCallum) in the CBS television series 'NCIS'
(When one’s morals fail to match up with one’s ethics, there's a word for that too: 'hypocrisy'.)

absolutely. if a christian asks a question and an atheist answers, no matter how thoughtful and insightful it may be, that answer will not get chosen as best. it works vice versa too.

generally yes. however, i asked a question about why being gay is wrong. i don't think being gay is wrong, so i didn't pick a best answer, i sent it to the polls. it seemed silly to pick an answer saying being gay isn't wrong, it doesn't even answer the question. i couldn't possibly choose an answer that said being gay is wrong...
