This is what I want to use: It is sold by the oz so I want to know how much I need to buy to mix in my paint.
Apple Red Micro Flake
Micro Flake: Micro Flake is a fine cut flake at .004 x .004 Hex cut particle size. It can be sprayed through most medium tip sized Airbrushes, as well as HVLP Full and Detail Sized Spray Gun Equipment with a 1.3 nozzle set-up or larger. (MF) sprays with reduced surface roughness so it's easier to finish with clear. (MF) is extremely brilliant and has the appearance of being a much larger flake without the flash of the larger flake..

what you need to do is re-paint the whole truck, and have them add the metal flake in with the paint,it would take a full gallon to paint that truck good,to be safe on it though id want to start with a gallon and a quart,to make sure i got good coverage on it,they can do the same color it is now,all they ,ll have to do is mix that color, and add the metal flake to it,any automotive paint store can do this for you, stay with a good brand of paint also DuPont or ppg is two of the best brands on the market right now, good luck with it.

first you want to pick the color, some colors have more flake from the factory such as the color code for dodge black, which is PXR this is black metallic, or Nissan has a good black met. it is G10. the thing to do is find any car on a car lot and get the paint code. for example, mopar has their code on the driver door. choose your color from what is on the lot. it will be so much easier to match in case of a wreck and it has to be repainted.
