Yeah... this part is a REAL hoot... a vile and evil ('though thankfully imaginary) diety sets up his son/self to be cruelly tortured and suffer a gruesome and agonizing death... in a public spectacle of blood sacrifice... to APPEASE HIMSELF.
And THEN... causes peoples' thinking to become so bizarrely and grotesquely twisted that they regard this as a 'good' thing.
That is not 'good'... that is INSANE.
