I'm hyper nervous and worry about everything and one thing that has helped me is writing things down. Sometimes i worry that i might forget something and writing it down just helps me to relax knowing that i don't have to rely on my mind because it's down on paper. If it's ruining your day to day life then maybe seek therapy. Cognitive behavioural therapy is good for changing the way you think.

It's one thing to be hyper-nervous and unable to calm down. Maybe if you calm down somewhat and give maybe 3 specific instances of real life occurrences people would be better able to help you here in this format.

I find writing things and I also find activities like walking rewarding.

Meanwhile I am sharing some sites.

You have to calm yourself down by thinking differently. It's what goes in your mind that makes you nervous. Say for instance, you are due to go on an outing, probably something different that you have not done maybe for a long time, well, things start going through your head, thinking a lot about the outing say, and it gets you all worked up. You have to remember nothing is going to happen to you, you are in controll all the time.
It's about training your mind to think differently thats all. It can be done with practice.
Good Luck...

Don't drink caffeine, cut out sugar. Eat healthy and go for walks in fresh air. Drink plenty of water and fruit.

Remember that everyone gets nervous even those who seem confident. Try relaxation and breathing techniques. Meditation is very good for calming your mind, you can pick up audio cds on the net for deep relaxation.

I get VERY nervous too so I know what its like. These things help me with panic attacks.
