I can try to guess, you gave no many details.
Well, I don't buy the tale of people being "so busy" as excuse for not sending an e-mail. Why don't you ask her directly why it takes 1-2 days for her to answer your e-mails. Maybe she doesn't answer your e-mails right away, because she doesn't want to seem she's "desperate" about you, lol. This is a myth. Somebody doing this for not looking "desperate", can indeed look so uncaring, uninterested. I don't know if your friend falls into one of those categories, uninterested in you, or she's faking she doesn't like you much.
I personally abhor that behavior: people taking so long to answer e-mails: that's rude, uncaring, thoughtless. If I'm interested in somebody and this person doesn't answer my emails same day, and this behavior goes on and on, I usually reach the conclusion that this person's not into me, otherwise he would care about me.
Stop squeezing your brains,confront her, don't keep silent only for not to make her feel uncomfortable.

Maybe she just needs to gather her thoughts and figure out how to respond. I sometimes read an email, then respond later just because I want to know what it says. I get lazy and not feel like responding at the moment. I have friends who do that as well on Myspace.

Friend, if she likes you, then it's taking her that long just to weigh her words. Does she know you like her ?? If she likes you, but isn't certain that the feeings are reciprocated, you can bet she's getting everyone and their brother to help her out with writing 'just the right thing' - saying enough so you get the hint, but not saying so much that she's put in a vulnerable position and can get burned. She cares enough to think before speaking and put thought into a message. That's a good sign. Don't complain. You'd feel awful if she shot you a 6 word reply and that was it. Trust me!

How are you so sure that she is checking everyday? Perhaps she only checks it every couple of days. Or maybe she needs to think over her answers, your emails make her nervous. And she doesn't want to make any mistakes. Why not use the telephone instead.... God bless****

Maybe she is "wired" differently than you.. It might take her longer to process the info. in the email. Nothing wrong with that. Maybe she is busy too.
