DO they seperate toes? Should I stop wearing them?

They're bad because of the support issues. They don't seperate your toes, but if you're suffering from a lack of support, the ball of the foot can swell and cause the toes to splay out. Mine did and the doctor showed me how to make a little splint with a piece of tape, and had me wear shoes with a "rocker" sole, to bring it all back into line.

i saw earlier today that they are because they arent very shock-absorbent and can cause ankle, knee, hip, and back problems. i guess if you get some thicker ones that have some arch support and are more shock-absorbent then they probably arent very bad for you. i dont think they separate toes. but if you must wear them, you could probably find some that are more than about 3/4 inches thick and be fine.

They don't separate the toes, but they offer no arch support which leads to problems in the future.

Flips are OK but it's the flops that cause the trouble.

Just keep wearing them until you see some change. Don't listen to squeamish rumors.
