Less than 1,000.

I was one of those 25,000 and I didn't even get the rest of the day off.

If you are for the war read this
General Peter Pace now believes this
If the surge continues past May 2008 then what should be done
18 month tours in Iraq
only 9 months at home with 15 month tours
Have a draft
Break Iraq into 3
Time is running out, if you are for the War where are you going to get your Army from?
Many of our most experienced solders are getting out
with 6 to 8 years, because they do not want a 5th or 6th tour
Families are being torn apart
Fight the war on terror but fight it smart
How we will get the Army to fight this war?

Far to many for what was an elective war based on false pretense, if the real war was in Afghanistan where the terrorists were based, trained etc, I think most people would be somewhat more tolerant of the casualties and costs.

Less then are dead, crippled, brain dead, broken, or severly hurt from auto accidents on America's highways in the same amount of time.

I know this is deaths not injuries but I still think you need to see this litle trend here...

Anyone notice, the Left thinks everyone wounded in iraq is crippled or maimed for life.

Then they bring up John Kerry being wounded 3 times in vietnam.

Now does Kerry seem crippled or maimed to anyone ?

That's what war does to people. We feel your sympathy. People have been protesting war for hundreds of years, and trying to find alternate means of peace, but guess what?! NOTHING HAS WORKED YET!

25,000 wounded is a rough number that used often, but that number includes those that were just minor wounds too, enough to have to be reported, but often returned to duty.
