My wife and I make about 100,000 to 120,000 a year between the both of us. That may not seem a lot to some people but I feel very blessed. To show my graditude My wife and I try to pay for at least two of our family members in Mexico a year to come here legally. Even with the money paid it still is a lot of work. I am determined to get as much of my family here legally as I can. I am so passionate about people trying to make a better life for themselves I am willing to open my own pocket book. I was just curious if anti illegal immigrant supporters have a problem with this even though its legal. In my opinion I think your a racist if you do have a problem with this.

usajustice, great point! Im starting to sway the other way as far as doing it the right way. I always didnt feel that way. You see, I sometimes let the bigots get to me and that lead me to support illegal immigrants. I have always brought my family here legally but in a way supported illegal immigrants not any more........I dont think........mabey.........well see!.....I sometimes go back and forth because this is killing my wallet!

Nick no disrespect but, you need to get educated before you express your opinion. Chicano means Mexican/American. It means your proud to be an American with a Mexican backround. We are not a race. We are half Spanish and half Native. This is our way of identifying our culture. Their is nothing gangster about it.

James, only on cinco de mayo and mexican independance day. Dont take it as disrespect to the U.S. Its just another reason to have a good time and enjoy our culture. many American companies celebrate these holidays because it makes a good profit to do so. Also its hard to learn a language over night so cut them some slack. I suggest you try to learn a new language just to see how easy it really is. Did you know Engish is not the original language to the land? Im not trying to be a smart@ss Im just trying to open your eyes!

Legal Mexican Emmigrants are some of the best citizens we have!
My brother is married into such a family. Much as you are doing, they have paid huge amounts to get their parents, siblings, and everyone's children into America.
The children are all excellent students, the older adults have a work ethic unparalleled in modern American society, and their family values are outstanding too.

These sort of folks, are exactly why I oppose the illegals. It's not really fair to the folks who worked so hard to get here, to let others just walk in at will.

Security is another reason I'm so adamant about sealing our borders. The coyotes who smuggle in Mexicans, as well as South and Central Americans, have proved many times that they have no regard for the lives of the people the sneak in, all they care about is the money. What's to keep these same people from bringing in Terrorists, who certainly have lots more money than peons do ?

I think what you are doing is great.
legal immigrants are a good thing. It's when you put the il before legal that I have a problem.
Just like you, I work hard for my money. While I'm not in the top bracket income I do well for myself. I have a problem with my tax dollars paying for school, medical care, housing for illegals when there are too many Americans doing without those things.

I hate illegals but what your doing is just fine that's the way it was meant to be continue on and I welcome any of your family that comes here legal may I be the first to say welcome my fellow American

O.K. got educated LOL sounds funny but anyway asked 4 people in the building I'm in now and could only get one of my guys on the phone all are of Mexican decent 2 said
they are basically Mexican Americans 1 said the same as me gang bangers and one said I,m not sure kinda both ways and my worker said the same as you but he calls his buddy that because in prison that's what everyone calls the Mexican gang or click so well I guess its about 40% 60% but most of the whites and blacks I asked not included in the above 5 listed said gang bangers so I don't know whatever.

just a suggestion that's all

Thank you. It is really good to hear there are people doing it right, what with all the bad press on the illegal ones. Immigration is what has made this country great - flouting the law is no part of that greatness - but working with the law to come to the USA and find a better life is what the USA is supposed to be all about - go, go, go!

BTW, I agree with tx_trotter - you harm your message with the gratuitous slam at "racists".

I don't have a problem with anyone who immigrates to the United States through the legal process. They are following the law, and I welcome them.

Since you say you are following the legal immigration process for your family members from Mexico, are you a pro-illegal alien supporter?
If so, why?

Do you support illegal aliens violating our laws?
Do you believe that criminals should pay the consequences for the crimes they commit?

Do you have a problem with people in this country asking foreign nationals to respect our borders, our laws, our nation?

"You're" not "your" a racist. Anyway, legal is legal. But How about using that money to help make Mexico a place that 98% of Mexicans don't want to flee from. Liebrals always say we should help Mexico, you should too then.

Also, with the waiting line what it is, I dont see how you "legally" bring that many here.

Yeah I have an illustration. It was once a few proposition a few years again the mexicans have been adversarial to possibly the wellbeing care one, i dont recall. Mexicans at a US high school burned the American flag in protest. That is gratitude for you. Those mexicans leech off our nation and simply wish extra, extra, extra and we are in poor health of it. They're like cockroaches. They maintain breeding and also you are not able to do away with them.

Here is a novel idea for you. Why not work to better Mexico? While I have no problem with you utilizing the US immigration system in a legal manner, I'm nonetheless puzzled as to why you haven't considered helping to improve Mexico.

BTW, your slam at "anti illegal immigration supporters" is both offensive and disingenuous to your underlying premise. Who is the real racist here, hmmm?

I support what you're doing 100% !! It's awesome to do that for your family because you can. You are blessed and I think what you are doing in turn says a lot about you. I don't see why this would be wrong? It's legal.

I am not an illegal supporter.

No, I think it's great that you want to do so much for your family. As long as you are bringing over good law abiding people who will show loyalty to their new country and you're doing it all legally, I have no problem with it. Good luck!
