don't you think that come this time next year that no one will give a crap about Montoya? Just like Sorrensen last year, thats all you hear about every year is the new guy the superstar, and then the next year you don't hear anything.
Montoya will be old news next year cuz he is NOT all that, Fine he can race open wheel, but he probably never win a stock car race on an oval unless he TAKES OUT A TEAM MATE. Next year we will have some new superstar that we will watch and try to make it.

Having been in the Q&A forum this year I doubt if any kids in here will slack off. If you only know NASCAR racing you don't know how good some of these all star drivers coming into NASCAR are. Montoya is one of the best drivers inthe world. Once he gets use to the heavey car look out. He will get acepted because he will be the champ.
I can't wait for grade and high school to start back up and get rid of some of this rif raf for awhile. Maybe they will learn how to read and read into some of the histiry of NASCAR so they can realize they didn't discover it and how NASCAR gread for the all mighty green back is ruining there series.

I think Montoya is extremely talented, but Chip Ganassi Racing is a sub-par team in NASCAR. I'm not sure why that is either...Ganassi was one of the strongest teams in NASCAR with Sterling Marlin about 5 years back.

Montoya is getting a lot of attention because he's a minority, a foreigner, a former F1 and Cart star, (and because of that one of the most famous drivers in the world) And, he happens to be very aggressive, so he's an interesting storyline. Plus, he's started a trend - Villeneuve is coming to NASCAR, and expect Scott Speed, Dario Franchitti, and Sam Hornish Jr. to follow suit.

Hopefully it will. Juan Pablo Montoya is a talented F-1 driver I will give him that. In Nextel Cup one of the worst, every week he is taking somebody out and they always blame someone else besides him! The coverage will die of the just like with David Gilliand who they talked about so much in the beginning of the season at Daytona. For know though we'll just pray he doesn't wreck more people during the actual chase.

Next year we wont have to listen to all the crap about how great of a driver he is or anything like that. So that will be good, the guy is suppose to be the greatest thing since sliced bread, and he sucks ***. The guy was a no talent hack in F1 and he is a no talent hack in Nascar. Wonder how many people he will wreck out next year.

I think if he Drives next season like he has this season who will contiunue to be the objective of NASCAR Fans hatred. We have not heard the last on JPM and next season will be no different.

I follow F1 and evne there he managed to stay in the spotlight by taking the competition out with his overly aggressive and wreckless driving. Don't think he will change his stripes anytime soon.

They thought that Montoya was going to be a Nascar superstar right out of the starting gate . Guess he proved them wrong. People think that just because a driver does well in one type of racing that they will do the same in another ....guess what, they rarely do

You do have to give him credit for having the guts to try NASCAR.You have these other racers always talking about it but never doing it.If you can be competitive in NASCAR then you can drive on any level.I'm no Montoya fan,but I give him credit for trying.I'm sure the attention won't be as much but if adjusts to NASCAR he can't escape the spotlight.

Some will fade, some will stay and he will have a better year next year. All we have done is to change where the outsiders come from. They used to be anyone from north of Virginia and then were drivers who ran open-wheel.

This whole thing almost reminds me of Talledaga Nights.

I sure hope so. Last night during the race, at one time they talked about JPM for about 15 minutes, saying a bunch of nothing. I can't wait till nobody cares what that guy does. Maybe during the off season he will practice driving and not wreck anyone anymore!!!!

Go RCR!!!!
