What information do you need to raise a healthy, well adjusted child?

When you meet a healthy, well adjusted child, why don't you ask it?

This ? is far to vague to answer in the confines of a little forum
such as this one! When it come to information, there is so much
of it floating around out there that you really don't know what
to believe. I'm not saying that all this info is trash, nor that it is all
useful. But as a parent you really have to give allot of it a good
long look. As parents we kind of develop a sixth sense, and I
believe it is from there that we can draw on allot of information,
if we learn how to listen to instinct. naturally there are many
variables that figure into the issue, and so we must learn how
to duck and bob, say yes and no, which by the way is not a bad word. I honestly don't believe that what you are looking for is available. You can have two siblings same mother, same
father. When they reach adulthood, one is successful, and
to a large extent the other a failure. I've seen it many times.
Bottom line: be vigilant, use your brains, Learn to listen to
your gut, if you believe in god pray for help,and finally don't
be a push-over!!!

I don't get it either. There's a plethora of information that you would need in order to raise a healthy, well-adjusted child, and there area a lot of parenting styles that claim to be the key to having the most healthy well-adjusted child. In short: There's no answer to this question that wouldn't fill volumes of text.

It's all in the parenting handbook that should come with every child.. unfortunately it never does. You just have to use your better judgment.
