Now, let's get one thing straight. I can very much appreciate the female physique and take a lot of enjoyment doing so. If I'm at the beach or in a swimming pool or at a night club, etc, there's nothing better than ogling at the sexy young ladies who seem to go out of their way to be sexually appealing to onlookers.
However, I was shopping the other day at Asda supermarket and there was a lady there who was wearing only a very tight fitting dress that was partly see-through. In order to tell you how see-through it was, I'll inform you that I could clearly see her under wear. She was wearing a bra and a thong.
I have to say that even I, who appreciates the female form so much, felt as though this was going too far. She had a very exquisite physique and was sexually provocative in the extreme.
Is this right? I know that at the other extreme seeing these muslim women dressed in a cloak with a slit for there eyes is way over the top. but - in the supermarket, a little modesty?

I think there are limits yes they can dress sexy and enticing in public , but then there comes common sense, they should think about where they are going and who my may come in contact with or who may see them. If you are going some place public a woman could dress sexxy but should not dress slutty.
I have no problem seeing a beautiful woman but I would not want my children exposed to see through clothing,
I think some women do it for the attention and it gets take to far,
Ok they are attractive dress sexual, enticing but do it with some taste and dignity

I agree that people (not just women) should set reasonable limits for their dress in pubic places as a courtesy to others. Dressing in a highly provocative mode is obviously distracting for some, disturbing to others, and many people consider it inappropriate around children. Besides, the person dressing in that manner is framing herself as tawdry and desperate for attention.
I'm not talking about censorship or laws, just common sense, decency and respect for others in the community. Some immature people seem to have problems with those topics so will dress themselves, basically, like prostitutes to show that they can. It's unfortunate that they hurt their image by doing so, and equally unfortunate that others have to witness them.

I think your right. Its nice to see that at the beach/pool.And, women who dress flatteringly to there figures are very classy and sophisticated.Another thing that bothers me though is when you see a woman wearing far too much makeup! and the rise in youngsters who are beginning to dress that way little kids clothes that say things like "Come and get it," designed for 5 year olds! Lady's if you want men to like you for your body only, than dress like that.. but it won't make them love you or respect you.Dress nicely however and men might think your smart and, intelligent and you'll feel better about yourself too.

Women who dress like that have major self esteem issues. I bet they are some of the most disturbed women in the world...anyone who would thinks dressing like that is pretty, sexy etc. has confused sex with love and has never been respected. I actually feel sorry for them, they are looking for the wrong kind of attention. I bet the majority of them have really bad relationships with their fathers (and moms) and have either been abused or discarded from their families. It's a lot deeper than the skanky clothes.

I do think this is too much. Women should dress in a way that gives off self-respect. I think it's an embarassment when women have to dress this way for attention. You don't see men dressing like strippers in public.
I also find it disgusting that women and men a like who dress like this, are still able to complain when they are sexually harassed. I'm not promoting those who do the harassment, but honestly what do you expect?

I believe it is possible to dress provocatively, and yet maintain a sense of decorum. I do not see that there is any reason for ANYONE to dress in an unattractive fashion. However, there are limits to good taste. She crossed them.

No, that was very in appropriate...That's just sleazy and distasteful....That was absolutely wrong, I wouldn't want my children exposed to something like that at the market. I like dressing sexy, but tastefully....There is a time and a place for everything.

Why are you looking around for provocative women? Frustrated? I don't see sex in every person I look at.... Why do you?
**Why must a woman dress down? Why does no one expect the one with the penis to practice self control? Or do the people replying here really have so little respect for men that they think women MUST dress to not attract them because men have no self control?
