give it a ball of yarn. cats also love food. so unnatural because they are so thin. give it a rub on the belly, a kiss on the forehead, a little "meowing" sound, and just keep smiling at it. remember they get used to the stuff you do for them.

Cat nip. Fatcat toys rock, especially the boogie mat and the ones with the long tails, ours are entertained for hours. Cardboard boxes (especially those that have had cat nip toys in). Grow cat mint, very amusing to see cat in state of hedonistic bliss. Failing that, walk around for hours calling it before you find it was sitting on the fence all the time looking at you with an amused expression lol.

string, also, they like to look at windows and watch the birds, my cats also do that with the fish tank even though there aren't any fish in it. laser pointers are good too just try not to make your cats run into walls

My roommate buys her cat this flashy fish on a string, I think she gets it from Wal-Mart...the flashiness of it combined with the fact that it is suspended in midair drives the cat crazy. He will literally play with it all day. Experiment with toys on a string cause cats sure do like things like that!

Love it and play with it first. Then you can get a paper sack and cut a hole in the end - and put a straw through the hole and move it around and let the kitty try to catch it. You can also make it a Foil ball to play with. They love to bat them around with their paws.

Paper-bag party with catnip. Get paper grocery bags and crush some dried catnip buds into the bags. Lay the bags on the floor and watch the kitty circus.

Our cat likes laser pens, cat fishing poles, stuffed mice and his cardboard scratching box with catnip in it.

if it's one of the 50% of the population of cats that gets high off catnip...that'll keep it busy for a little while... if you want something longer then buy her some toys or a climbing gym
