im looking to get a puppy and would like any good websites that i may find it in. i would like a site that i can search by location (work in kansas city, mo, live in northern indiana.) not looking for a puppy breader site, just a site with dogs in the classifieds. please help me find a new friend!

Please, don't purchase a puppy from just any classified ads you read. You have no way of knowing just what kind of breeders the people are without doing lots of homework.
If you are simply looking for a pet, check Petfinder.com or, do a search for rescue groups in the area you intend to get your new companion from. There are breed specific rescues and there are all breed rescues.
