Speak to your gyno. My sister's gyno told her it was ok for her to delay her cycle by one or two weeks by taking extra pills. There maybe something that your gyno can do for you.

This is the mother of all questions.lol..........You must be really young so i will just say this. I'm a man and i am sure that you cant stop mother nature. So now you have two choices. No# 1 if you or your b/f don't mind the blood......do what you do. It would yes be a little messy so use old towels. Some people thinks it is gross but this truly depends on the couple. No# 2 if you are on during your honeymoon and you don't want to put up with the blood, you have no choice but to wait. You can still have fun on your honeymoon without having sex. Be creative. Do something special. This is your honeymoon and in the future when you look back on your honeymoon, you will want to have some memories to cherish. And it don't have to be sex. Hell you're married. You can have sex anytime.

Just wanted to add....if you are on a birth control pill like Ortho-tri Cyclen or Ortho Tri Cyclen lo you cannot simply not take the sugar pills and start a new pack. You will screw up your cycles for months.
It sounds like your not on birth control at all. I don't know if there is any way to stop you period from happening during your honeymoon. You know what they say about mind over matter right. Just concentrate on not getting your period. Tell your body what you want it to do.
Let's say that you do get your period. I know. It can be annoying, but don't let it ruin your entire honeymoon. You can still have fun while your monthly visitor is around.
The only other thing I can say is to see your gyno. Maybe there is something that can help you. Good luck and enjoy your trip. No matter what.

WOW people do not read the details of the question do they?
You are going on vacation next Friday, so even if you were on the pill you may not be able to skip that period by skipping the placebo pills! Heck, you could skip the placebo pills and STILL get your period, since you have such a short time between now and when you go on your honeymoon. And starting birth control now, you could still get your period. Either way will totally screw up your cycle.
And, its also most likely TOO late to even change your honeymoon to the next week.
Talk to the doctor and see what they can do for you.
You CAN still enjoy your honeymoon on your period. Just use tampons when you aren't enjoying each other in bed and lay something down just in case it gets messy. Take advantage of the shower/bath too!

If youre not on the pill already, I dont think there is a way to stop it. Perhaps you should have started the pill a few months before this. If you skip the last week and just start the next pack, you will not get your period.

Progestogen-based birth control pills can fully stop or greatly reduce a woman's periods to mere spotting. However, one week to go might be a bit too late to start -- you'll need to talk to your gynecologist about it, so give them a call ASAP and explain the situation.

If you're on birth control - call your gyno and ask if it's safe for you to skip the last week of sugar pills - the week of pills that your period comes with - and go right to taking the first week of the actual birth control pills of a new pack. My aunt did that when she didn't want to be on her period on her vacation. Worked for her.

You on birth control?? If you are (or even arent) skip the placebo week... and take a week of hormones. Women in the military do it all the time, nothing worse than a period in the field. If you're not on an oral control, i suggest gettin to the doctor quick.

You have a week to explain this to your fiancee.
Extend the honeymoon to another date or calm down and relax. The stress of the trip may have your body holding off.
Otherwise, order dark sheets for your suite.

If you're on the pill, keep taking your pills, I mean skip the sugar pills, and start a new pack. You just have to take them on time everytime otherwise you might get your period. Otherwise there isnt much you can do sorry.

If you take birth control pills,, don't take the placebos, start a new pack.
Try the instead cup, it takes a little practice, so go get em!
