God's love?

Immense, unstoppable, furious, mighty.
Why does He love us?
We don’t deserve it, but we need it.
Imagine a world without His love.
No kindness, no light, no warmth
Just dark, endless cold darkness stretching into eternity.
But He loves us, wants us..even likes us? Hard to believe but its true.
He wants to save us, save us from our selves. But there’s only one way.
It will cost so much….Yet He chooses it
A pinprick of light in the dark.
A star above a stable, piercing the night’s sky.
A host of heavenly angels, lovingly addressing a group of simple shepherds.
The chasm is closing, the gap between man and God is being bridged.
Through a baby. A normal insignificant baby.
The power, majesty and might of God concealed within an crying infant.
O but what a price. Nails in His hands, spear in His side, a crown of thorns upon His head.
The throne of heaven exchanged for a crude, wooden cross.
And as the jeers, catcalls and cheers surround Him, he is silent, thinking only of them, His children.
As He shoulders their sin, their transgressions, their iniquities, His Father weeps.,
Knowing what He must do and so.. He pours out His wrath, His fury, His anger on His only begotten Son.
There, on a cross, surrounded by thieves the Prince of Glory cries “It is finished!“
And He dies, dies for us.
He suffered this for you..what have you done for Him?

What you have posed is not so much a question but more a summary of a doctrine. Doctrines are used to indoctrinate. This particular doctrine is based on hearsay anecdotes that cannot be substantiated by independent factual evidence related to that particular time in history. If you want to be saved you will need to save yourself and this starts with consciously reviewing all beliefs which you are currently holding as sub-conscious conditioning processes. Only 'the Truth will make you free' and this you will need to ascertain for yourself.

If you found a perfume that you liked, and you decided that it worked well with you body chemistry, would you have to defend it any further. God made us to have a relationship with Him. He didn't make us to go to the place where Satan will go, He made that place for Satan and his angels (Those who rebelled) .

Since a part of mankind is in a constant state of rebellion, they get to go there too. I do not like talking about that place and am considering calling it, " The place where I dare not name."

He loves us and it is evidenced by that when we see that God did not make that place for humans.

He loves us because it pleased Him that we should enjoy His company. It's a mutual love.

We do deserve God's Love, that is why it is given. Our own thoughts of unworthiness prevent us from accepting it. Being saved is a reference to the acceptance of God's love, for that "IS" God's will. Hating others, whom God also created is a rejection of what we are.
