Would be nice if they made birth control a tad cheaper and came out with a brand that doesn't have major side effects like issues if you have a family history of heart disease and blood clotting. There isn't one pill on the market that I can take without risk of possibly killing myself.
Oh and they wont let them put in a planned parenthood near me people protested it calling it a abortion mill. I find their ignorance interesting they provide medical care to women who cant otherwise afford it along with birth control, counseling and classes. (its not just abortions there)

I do think the government should subsidize condoms; however they should also subsidize other types of birth control (ie: diaphrams, IUD devices and birth control pills) AND increase the amount of money spent on sexual education.
To me, the problem with abstinence only sex ed is that they just say "Don't have sex." I think we should be telling our children (and heck, a lot of adults) "Don't have sex until you're ready. Here are some reasons why... However, if you are going to have sex regardless; here are some ways to protect yourself." I'd probably go farther and say "it's important to protect yourself because of ..."
I had my sex education at an early age, as I grew up on a farm. Getting up every 4 or 5 hours to bottle feed a lamb (which took 1/2 to an hour or so) for several months made me realize how much time babies take up. Having seen a cow die because she got bred too young and the calf was too big for her to birth also hit home the necessity of being mature before engaging in sex. (BTW, we really did do all we could to save the cow, and she only got bred because the bull broke down the fence)
P.S. condoms are only available for free at free health centers, if there are free health centers available. And in a lot of rural areas, there aren't any. Of course, I think we should help people get routine medical care so they can avoid emergency room trips as well.

Condoms are free at all Planned Parenthood locations, no questions asked, for anyone regardless of age. Getting this current government to subsidize anything that benefits the poor, especially women, is a joke. Trillions for war, nothing for the poor, GWB shame on you!!!!

I think if people want less abortions they should pump more money into sex education. It's the trickle down effect and a nice comprimise I think. Of course that won't happen. Most Christians want it 100% thier way or nothing at all.

They used to do it for the Military. A dozen used to be like $1.50.
It's actually profit taking by the drug companies you know. It doesn't even cost a penny to make one!
