HAHAHA your funny. As a police officer we get the same along with bomb threats, threats against our family, shot at, and I already have had 2 people attempt to run me over.....I don't get hazard pay and you think you deserve it! Thanks for the laugh. And good luck with that one. Let me know if you see a dime-FYI your employer pays it.

I don't think that you are entitled to danger pay for being in charge of a building in the ghetto. I suggest that you find another job with a safer enviroment.

Go to HR and ask them if they pay danger pay. Look at your state's website and find the laws pertaining to danger pay. Some gas station attendants who work the night shift get extra pay in some states. Find the law and take that to your HR, there are also employment lawyers who may help you get it. Conversely, you might not be entitled under your circumstances or in your state.

Doubt you are entitled to any extra pay unless your employer wants to pay it. Even dangerous jobs are being stripped of "hazard pay" because OSHA says you should not work in a dangerous condition.

Danger pay is something that is in your employment agreement, company policy or contract. You are not automatically granted it, even if your job is dangerous.
