How do you transfer a video made using ‘Movie Maker’ to a DVD so that the video can be viewed from a DVD player?

I have made a video on the program called ‘Mover Make’ and want to transfer it on to a DVD so that I can watch it on the big TV on my DVD Player.

Please can you tell me how I could do this, THANKS.

You want to save the file so that it is in a movie format. Make sure that it is in NTSB format as well, not PAL. Important.

Next, make sure you have a DVD burner (duh I know, but gotta have it).

Next, open the program that you use to burn DVD's. I use Nero, works well. But whatever program you use, you are going to create a new DVD project. Then import the video (move it to the desktop easier to grab) into the program.

After that, you can make menus, etc. Then insert a blank DVD and burn the project to the DVD. It may take some time, depending upon how large your movie file is after you exported it into WMV format (standard format for movies).

Good luck. You might want to try the other free Microsoft program out there, not as many transitions, but good program to use, its MS PhotoStory 3

THE key factor is that the movie is in a format your DVD player recognizes.

If it is VOB files (video/audio folders), any player should play it.
If it is WMA or AVI, MPG or RM u may need to convert it - especially RM, nothing seems to recognize that.

Save the movie file and transfer the file over to itunes, or whatever you use to burn DVDs and Cd's and just burn it like you do Cd's
