I read that god gave women to the angels because the angels found them to be beautiful. Is there any biblical evidence to support this?

I have read this in "The Book of Enoch" which is not in the Bible. It is a separate deleted book from the Bible available at on line book stores or on e-bay.
And, God didn't allow it, it just happened. It's the free will thing again.

The Nephilim (giants) were offspring of the fallen angels that followed satan when he rebelled and human women. God did not give women to them, they did, however take them as wives (more than one). This is why in many instances in the bible when God is ordering the total anialation of a people, it was because these 1/2 human people were these offspring of the event. So, God was ordering for protection from evil creation rather than ordering it because he was cruel. Give this a gander.............. you'll find the biblical evidence listed.

It doesn't say that God "gave" women to angels. It seems instead that evil angels took the form of humans and went into women and God gave them punishment for this sin.

Jude 1:6 And the angels who did not stay within their own position of authority, but left their proper dwelling, he has kept in eternal chains under gloomy darkness until the judgment of the great day-- 7 just as Sodom and Gomorrah and the surrounding cities, which likewise indulged in sexual immorality and pursued unnatural desire, serve as an example by undergoing a punishment of eternal fire.

Genesis 6:1 When man began to multiply on the face of the land and daughters were born to them, 2 the sons of God saw that the daughters of man were attractive. And they took as their wives any they chose. 3 Then the LORD said, "My Spirit shall not abide in man forever, for he is flesh: his days shall be 120 years." 4 The Nephilim were on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of man and they bore children to them. These were the mighty men who were of old, the men of renown.

"Sons of God" in the OT most often refers to Angels.

Job 1:6 Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan also came among them.

God didn't give the women. Angels took them. Not too many details there (Genesis chapter 6).

Notice how Noah's flood happens in the next chapter (Genesis 7) wiping out the Earth as it was, so I don't think God approved of those unions too much.

Yes, there is Biblical evidence for this. God didn't allow it, they were rebelling and they chose to come to earth and sleep with women.

Genesis 6: 1-4

This was part of the rebellion against God, and the resulting Fall...it's a hell of a mess God is still cleaning up...

the fallen angels were expelled from Heaven and roamed the earth and did have "relationships" with earthly women.

Not at all. They took wives for themselves, namely all who they chose as per Genesis 6:2.
