Hi, All, I have a mac computer just bought one week ago, I also installed Windows XP in MAc computer, now My Windows XP C:\ Drive have 60GB of space and Don't have partition, I want to partition the C:\ drive under windows XP in to two Partition one 20 GB and one 40GB, how can I do that?

I tried to install Power quest partition magic 8.0, but it can't open the program, the error message saids undefined partition, I guess is powerquest partition magic don't understand the hiden drive which to use installing Mac OS X system that is why it can't open the partition magic program.

So how can I partition my C drive under Mac? thanks.

The easiest partition manager to use, in my opinion, is GParted:

http://gparted.sourceforge.net/

It has the ability to resize partitions, which is what you want to do; shrink the NTFS partition (C:), and format the remaining free space to NTFS as well.

Best of all, there is nothing to install; it runs from a LiveCD.

there are different courses for partition administration. as properly that.. acronis do one additionally disk director.. and errm paragon do one i think of. mac os x could be extra advantageous to try this however, interior the utilities bit in basic terms incase the living house windows factor crashed.
