i'm interested in lots of electronic products and i also like breaking up them to study their operational principles,when my friends and colleagues have problem with them,they usually resort to me.but i can not find some convenient repair tools all through,recently i found this ,but i was worrying about its quality

it's a good start.
replace pieces with better quality, if needed, as u use it and find out what "better" means.

I dont know if there could be a FIXER tool for the registry. To me i see the registry as the database for the WinXP. I think our prefference for various apps and other extreme/custom customizations, it will be hard to provide a FIX (as in replace the lost key). Such replacement may make the system unstable. If you did take a complete image of the OS recently, then you may just need to restore that image. Oh how about a complete cleaning of the OS and then do a Repair of the SO with the Repair option of XP install cd? Have u tried that? That could amount to a fix. Hope you get some intresting ideas. Looks good but only when you use the tool you will find out if it is good or not.
