Am getting the following message when trying to convert an avi file to copy video from pc to cd.

"Avisynth open failure" - Avidsource: couldn't locate a decompressor for fourcc div3. (c:\V2DTEMP\Avi2dvd_temp\Avisyth_Script_file.avs, line 2).

Have uninstalled the Avi2Dvd codex and reinstalled but still getting the same problem. Any ideas much appreciated.

It seems that Avi2DVD doesn't contain the codecs that you require. (It's looking for the decompressor for fourcc div 3).

Download the following codec pack. I know, for a fact, that it contains the codec for fourcc.

I always to use Daniusoft Video Converter to convert any video formats to other popular video formats with only three steps. It let you set the movie effects.
You can free download it here to have a try:

Otherwise, you may search some other ways on http://www.google.com/

I usually use nero's movie maker and import the AVI files and your set. You can even create your own title, menu, and chapters.
