I am no longer going to church b/c I found that the ppl who called themselves "Christians" were hypocrites. They had all types of addictions, affairs and they didn't practice what they preached. The worst part is they didn't forgive other for their trespasses even when ppl will say they are sorry.

Anyone notice this or is it just me?

Religion is a poor predictor of morality. For all of its supposed teachings, Christianity and other religions really don't produce people that are better to each other.

Religion teaches its converts to worry about things about themselves that they cannot control, like their thoughts. It also concentrates on aspects of humanity that really don't add to society, like extreme prudishnes. And it promotes ideals that lend to bigotry, chauvinism, and in extreme cases violence, torture, and killing.

Religion teaches its converts a lazy morality. It spoonfeeds them list of rules, but discourages them to really think about the validity of those rules. As a contrast, secular humanism teaches people to value humanity and work towards things that promote society. It doesn't push mindless dictates, but promotes general ideas that people can figure out for themselves how to implement. It takes into account the human condition and doesn't rely on emotional appeal.

Jesus has many names. The term Angel skill only messenger. It does not must be a this or that decision here. Jesus is a messenger and he's God. He replaced into additionally call the Son of guy too. he's no longer a created being. he's the son of God. This situation does not have any genuine effect on Adventist ideals. this is frequently talked approximately by using different faiths to nitpick and that's all. Adventists do have self assurance interior the trinity of the Godhead this is God the father, God the Son (Jesus) and God the Holy Spirit. Adventists do certainly have self assurance that the lifeless understand no longer something. they have self assurance Jesus will develop them up from the lifeless on the 2nd coming. they have self assurance this in view that's what the Bible says. The literal translation of Hell from the Greek (the unique language of the hot testomony writers) is easy the grave. Adventists have not got self assurance in a hell of eternal torment, as this is unbiblical. How can devil torment sinners for ever while the Bible of course says that he would be held to account for his strikes and destroyed? Sin won't be able to exist interior the presence of God. the end results of rejecting God is eternal separation from God. for the reason that God is existence - which skill eternal demise or a state of no existence. God is a merciful God.

I see that you don't have the defintion of a True Born Again Christian, A true Born again christian will live the same life away from church as he or she would at church, Now you mention some that claims to be born again, & yet their lives don't show it, that is because they are professing something & they don't have the posser, In other words they are not really born again, Now you use this excuse to keep you from going to church, Did you know you can find any excuse you want to so you don't have to go to church. As for myself, I have been saved for over 37 yrs. & I live the same life outside the church as I do inside the church, I live it at the store as I do at church, I live it in the woods as I do in the church, why do I live it the same all the time, Because it is something real in my life, & not just an excuse to miss church or stay at home, it is something that has changed in my life that makes me want to live it the same. For every 100 person that claims to be born again, you can only find one that is true.

May I, say we Christians are not better then anyone.

Honey, darrling, babay girl....its better to go to heaven with the Hypocrites( you may have heard the gossip of affairs, but were you there when they got on their knees and asked for forgiveness????.......), then to go to burn in hell with the hypocrites.

Did not Jesus accept the disiples when they were in the world?? Did he not supp with them?? Did he not bare with them through there trials of becoming like Jesus himself?? THAT IS THE POINT OF CHURCH. We are suppose to hold eacherothers up when we see that one is about to fall. We are suppose to help eachouther up, when a solider of Christ has fall.

We are soliders in God's army. IT is greater than any man's army. It is greater than the navy and the marines put together, and we leave no man behind, unless he choose to stay behind...even so we try to save him.

Don't let anyone stray you away from God. The devil attacks the church doors to keep week minded christians from entering.

Nobody is better than anybody else. And no one should preach other wise. We are all the same to some extent. We all are human and have good and bad in us. All should be treated equally. If the church or religion that you go to makes you uncomfortable, go elsewhere until you find what you are looking for.

Dear Sunny,

...... " FUNDAMENTAL...? " OK.... Lets.. TEST IT !

A " Very Good " Question..... B U T... perhaps You could SUBSTITUTE... the Word.... " BELIEVER " ... For the Word... Christian?

That is .. BECAUSE.... Many who are NOT Christian... USING the Bible as The RULE OF MEASURE.... Still Call themselves.... Christian.

FOR Example... the JW's and the Mormons and Many Other SECTS call themselves.... Christians!

HOW ABOUT..... IF..... WE.... Use... JESUS Words... and ... Test... The.. " FUNDAMENTALS....? "

(Matthew 7:20-to-23) Therefore = by their fruits = you shall know them.

(Mat 7:21) Not everyone = who says to Me, = Lord! Lord! = shall enter the kingdom of Heaven, = but he who does = the will [ WORD ] = of My Father in Heaven.

(Mat 7:22) Many = [ Some = Few = or = Many ] will say to Me = in that day, = Lord! Lord! =

Did we not prophesy in Your name,

and through Your name throw out demons,

and through Your name do many wonderful works?

(Mat 7:23) And then I will say to them =

I [JESUS] = never knew you!

Depart from Me,

those working LAWLESSNESS!

Hope that ANSWERS... Your Question!

Thanks, RR

When you get Born-Again (Spirit Recreated) you are a Child of GOD.

You have to Walk in Holiness in Order to Look Like and Walk Like and Talk Like---Jesus!

We use that word "Christian" in the Wrong Way.

We should just call ourselves Children of GOD, unless you ARE Walking in Holiness at the Time.

(Takes Time to Learn How, Have to be Diligent in the Things of GOD too!)

This hypocrisy is in all religions. However I did notice it more in the "Born Again People". This movement seems to attract people with a lot of problems, they need help. At least they are trying to get help ,but this movement is not for everyone, like you noticed.

The sad truth of today is that most Christians are not totally committed to God. They just don't trust him to take care of their needs. People don't spend anytime in the presence of God nor do they pray unless they want something. Most are tied up with "prosperity" preaching.
Christians need to get back to the Bible and establish a personal relationship with God. They need to seek his presence daily. If we would as a whole commit ourselves wholeheartedly then we would see the supernatural God of the Bible manifested in our lives.

You are not alone in this observation, and often the more their Christianity is flaunted, the more likely they are to be hypocrites.
