Go to a doctor and see if you can try some other meds that you haven't tried before.

When you got meds from a doctor, did you take then as directed for at least 30 days? If you didn't, it's possible you didn't give them enough chance to work. Sorry, but since you are pretty young and you say you tried all these different things; I have a strong feeling that you were not compliant with your prescribed meds. It's not going to work if you don't give it chance.

There is a type of surgery to treat OCD, but it's in the experimental stage; not a generally accepted form of treatment at this time.

If you're familiar with hypnosis, then you've no doubt heard of Master Hypnotist Steve G. Jones. His book, "Ultimate Conversational Hypnosis" has been voted as the best hypnosis course ever made. The book is also available in electronic format at: http://www.hypnosistocontrol.net

If you want to get an edge in everyday communication and lead other people towards your goals this is a must read.

Here is some info about it: http://www.ocduk.org/1/ocd.htm
Some people forget that to a person who suffers from it, the outside will see this a bizarre behaviour when it seems pretty reasonable to the person with OCD.

It takes many guises and people often have rituals of their own without realising it and wham, it soon hits them that they too could have OCD, it is in its extreme cases a problem and in its mild cases it is livable and the latent OCD sufferer is unaware of their daily rituals the amount to OCD.

Obsessive compulsive behaviors are said to sometimes be linked to genetics. Then it could also be accompanied by certain phobias. Since you are aware that you have that try to not do the OCD behaviors and deviate away from it. You can willfully unlearn these behaviors on your own without any help unless you can't then you would have to seek professional help.

I personally believe OCD is learnt behaviour. Circumstances have lead to you feeling the way you do. you are not born with it.
The only real way to is to UNLEARN that behaviour. Ask your gp to refer you to a CBT congnetive behvioural therapist. They will treat you by reteaching you how to behave.
I know this becuase i suffered OCD for years, Cleaning and going outside.
Belive me, it's not easy but therapy will help. DRUGS wont.
It takes a long time. You cant have the therapy for a month or two and expect results. This behaviour took years to learn nad may take years to unlearn.

I think it's something to do with not having any real problems to worry about in life. If you lived in a warzone constantly having to avoid death and torture, you'd soon forget about having to turn the lights on and off 35 times before you leave every room.
