Yes it is. The bible is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow. It is never changing and everlasting, having lasted century to century. The bible is so true that scholars have been amazed in the recent years that there are some biblical statements that seem to reveal a relatively advanced knowledge of scientific matters. The bible instructions on certian medical procedures and basic sanitation rules are very advanced. In one area, the OT gives detailed orders that would have prevented the spread of germs from animal carcasses. It was surprising when scholars saw it because, until the 19th century, even medical researchers and doctors did not know that disease could be transmitted by microscopic germs or viruses. The bible is a book full of information, just waiting for people to discover it!

The bible was penned by Humans and it was translated to other languages, from language to language and people of the authority in those times played with it to suit their purposes.Parts of bible clearly speak of it's corruption if you've a lil knowledge of the bible you can clearly note it is a human penning. Though it was a revelation from God once but it's corrupted now.

How can you say, "We [the Jews] are wise, for we have the law of the LORD," when actually the lying pen of the scribes has handled it falsely? Jeremiah 8:8

Many of the gospels have been thrown out of the bible and if you know RSV keep on making major amendments in bible from time to time. Why are few books of bible selected and why a few are thrown out? How'd we know from white to black.

Bible was not written by Jesus himself. It was written after the life of Jesus .It is a bible according to John , Mathew Mark etc. i.e, according to humans.

The Bible is the inspired word of God given to man that they may know God. One should pray before reading the word that they may have an understanding of what is written. The Bible is written to be read at face value, and also there is revelation knowledge for those who accept Christ. Meaning that the inspiration of the Holy Spirit will teach how to live the life that those in the Bible lived. The Bible comes alive to those who know Christ. They are inspired, empowered, and become conquerors of darkness; and vessels of love and honor.

It depends on what bible you are referring to. If you mean the King James, yes it is true look at all the things going on in the world that the bible predicted. Read Matthew 24 Chapter it is about the end times. Also the book of Daniel is a book of prophecy that is coming to pass as we speak as well as several other the books in the bible.

Some atheists here told you to read the bible as a skeptic. But you should probably read it with an open mind instead. You might see then that it is true. Even science confirms the bible.

Eeeeeeverybody wants to insist that he KNOWS. But to have absolute and certain knowledge requires that you have irrefutable, indisputable, unarguable proof. Whether or not the Bible is "true" in whole or in part IS Disputed, IS argued, and continues to be challenged daily. Until somebody comes forward with the clear and undeniable evidence that it is "true", not one single solitary person on the planet has the right to claim that he "knows", because no matter how sincerely, and how passionately you BELIEVE something, that belief is yours and yours alone and cannot rise to the criteria necessary to claim it as FACT.

Faith cometh by hearing of the word. You need to read for yourself. When you do read out-loud. You will find that the deeper you dig the more that is revealed. Albert Einstein once said that the more he found out about the universe, the more that he believed in a higher power. Even Darwin gave all the glory to God. He even believed. Until you read and let conviction grow, you will not see a need to change. I recommend starting in the gospels. Jesus is the answer for the world today. Above him there's no other, For Jesus is the way.

Tay you need to research how where and by who the bible was compiled.

These people had an agenda. Their goal was to suppress the teachings of Jesus and the tool that they created was the bible.

If you want to get some hints about where to look email.
