If it feels soft when you take it out of the jar, just microwave to heat and eat. Or if you really are an asparagus lover like me, just eat it plain, cold when the kids are asleep and you have the asparagus all to yourself, like they wanna eat it, lol.

On a serious note, I bought some just like that and they where soft and salty so I just drained them, added cracked pepper and lime juice and zapped them for 60 seconds, times vary depending on Wattage of YOUR microwave.

Chill the asparagus in the refrigerator. When chilled, drain and place on paper towels to absorb excess liquid. Put on a plate and serve with mayonnaise. Wasabi mayonnaise makes a better presentation.
Canned or jarred asparagus CANNOT be cooked in any way I know of to taste good, but chilled it is acceptable.

It will be cooked if it's in a jar. I think it would probably taste horrible anyway. If you are a fan of fresh asparagus, I'd just chuck it out and use the jar as a vase. Bottled veg sucks.

strain asparagus and make some cheese sauce place in oven proof dish and pour cheese sauce over put under grill or in oven for 10 to 15 mins . Other than that i would throw them away and go to your local asda or super market and buy fresh .

Chuck it. Asparagus comes out of the gronnd, not a jar. If you have to, make soup out of it using single cream, lots of pepper and some parsley.

Don´t worry. Just put them beetween two paper towels so the water excess comes right out. Altought, if they come in salty water they were preserved and can be served as they are, but that depends on how much do you like the flavor on it´s present state.

If you like, you can write the notes & instructions no matter they are in spanish and I can translate them in no time.

I use that asparagus for my tomato soup I'll make with spagettI especially the water. It makes the tomato soup milder.
