I made a chanel banner and saved it but it wont open in the normal window .. but it opens in only photoshop cs2? and i dont have jpeg in the dropdown

i do no longer understand if the XP professional X64 has something to do with this happening. I truthfully have CS2 and there is not any concern saving a PSD document that includes layers as a jpeg without past pulling down. of direction the layering is misplaced. As pronounced, the keep for internet will certainly get around this concern.

Use the "Save For Web..." option. That will allow you to save as a JPEG while giving you control over the compression level, allowing you to make the smallest file while maintaining quality. After you save for web, save the .psd file again and the settings will be conserved.

right click and save as jpeg

as don said your probably not saving it as jpeg.. or i'm guessing its not the correct colour mode for jpeg..
