Why is there always a fuss about people from Christian/european countries?

Answer: More details please. In America in 1965 LBJ and traitor/murder Ted Kennedy put Draconian limits on European immigrants, and virtually no limits on those of the America's that wanted to over-run the United States, enter and not assimilate.
But I must admit I see similar circumstance even in County Cork.

If you are posting this from the UK, it is because every person living in an EU country has the right to live and work here. No visa etc. Non EU countries need a visa, so we can keep track of the numbers.

I hope you don't live in Europe as your question would suggest either that you have an agenda or are just incredibly ignorant. But then assuming as you do that Christians exist only in Europe, that might not be such a big leap to make after all.

If I understand your question then it is a perplexing one...I personally could never understand why the most valuable immigrants who want to come to North America have the hardest time getting here...here in Canada I know many p[people from the EEC who want to come to Canada but have little or no chance but we have a huge influx, decent people I will add, of uneducated peoples from mostly Asian, African and South American countries..it makes sense to most of us that people of like mind should be allowed to migrate before people who come and then want to change our established culture and laws...Europe is suffering what we are about to suffer...In Canada, more people arrive as "refugees" and seek asylum than through established methods and the Canadian immigration department seems to rubber stamp them...and why? beause the immigration department is staffed by former immigrants...interesting...the rabbits in charge of the carrots...there are war resistors from the US who have a genuine argument who will probably not be allowed to stay but a lesbian from Mexico is guaranteed entry...I know of one who claimed refugee status because she was persecuted in Mexico for being a lesbian but when her status was denied she married a guy and was allowed to stay..she lied but was still allowed to stay...until an overhaul of the immagration rules, Europeans and the like will continue to be discriminated against in favour of people from nations that will not become Americans or Canadians but will remain whatever they fled from...that said, the many Chinese immigrants who come to Canada become amazing citizens and work hard and contribute to the country they have adopted but I cannot say that about people from other nations....it is not just Europeans either...there are many non coloured peoples from Africa who are devoutly discriminated against...especially in the US...it is a god question with no real answer...

Interesting question. I am not sure of why Johnson and Kennedy did this, but the result will be your nation will become much less Western, European, and Christian in outlook - not to mention much less white in composition.

I dont know, its stupid! Id rather have Polish, Czech, Hungarian, Italian, French, Greek people come to britain instead of all these Pakistanis, Bangladeshis, Somalians, Jamaicans, Kurds and Albanians that are let in!

Im Assyrian/British myself, Mid Eastern christians, Jews, chinese and Hindu and Sikh indians also fit in well also.
