now because it is on my mind now. With ovarian cancer in the latter stages is it normal to get differnet pains in different places? Not all at once but like a sharp shooting pain in diffent parts of your body that you do not expect? like near your kidneys, your side near your overies, your legs anywhere. And when they do it only lasts for about 5-10 seconds, then goes away. Is this normal for someone with ovarian cancer? I need your imput, before I go and see my doctor tomorow so I can get treatment. Serious answers please. And if it is normal for what I asked why is it?

I think you might need to see a phychologist about this. You have asked a multitude of questions about ovarian cancer, as well as announcing that you are dying any time soon from it. Either have along talk to your cancer doctor, or get a referral to a psychologist, because you are not handling this very well. You need help.

Why are you out to get Panda? She has only answered to the best of her ability..just like others have. You are the one asking...when someone answers you... you get mad at them like they didn't give the answer you have been looking for. You really need to listen to her and others here that have suggested that you talk WITH your onocologist. Your docs are the only ones that truly know your case and the stage that you are at so without all that knowledge....theres no way anyone can answer your questions accurately. No one is built the same...no one has the same health or cancer so the only answers that you can get from anyone here on yahoo answers is general not specific. I don' t have cancer but I do get shooting pains that can happen in any part of my body for 5-10 seconds in duration due to spinal cord damage from an accident.

Ask your doctor. As has been stated multiple times to your answers what you describe isn't normal for ovarian cancer.

if it will ease your mind please ask your doctor. none of us here are doctors and we can only give you our thoughts. last night i read chicken soup for cancer patients. i agree with the thoughts after treatment we feel that nothing else is being done for us. and we are constantly looking for an outbreak of cancer somewhere else in our body's. i believe they called it canceritis. i know how you must be feeling. i have breast cancer and i have shooting pains sometimes, it just makes you wonder. take care. when someone has had chemo, radiation, surgery associated with cancer
you just don't know whats coming next. so go ahead and ask. to and oncologist no question is stupid.

We all tend to loose sight of the fact that we can suffer from other illnesses and diseases after we have been diagnosed with cancer.
