They are part of the same - good or evil or bad or whatever are just labels - two opposites are the same whichever way you look at it.

When its taken to an extreme, good can definately become evil. As the motto goes, everything in moderation.
Being generous is a good thing, but when/if a person gives too much---like all of their time/energy they don't have anything left for themselves to keep themselves going.
Censoriship would be another example. Sheltering the young from the 'bad words' or extreme violence or provocative sexuality might be viewed as a good thing, but when it goes to the extreme where books or libraries are being put to the torch then it becomes a BAD thing.
Typically 'good' things bring people together, creating a sense of connectedness with all people and things on an even playing field. The 'evil' things are the result of selfishness or 'separateness'. When one person or group CLAIMS to be superior to anothers, this will leads to the 'enslavement' of lesser or the demeaning of the others.

Its technically a metamorphosis in alignment. attempt the D&D alignments, they help alot enable's say we've Robin Hood, who robs the rich and provides to the undesirable (classifying him as Chaotic reliable, for the reason that he facilitates those in choose, yet steps out of the obstacles of the regulation to do it.), and he all at as quickly as stops giving to the undesirable, and hoards the gold, and kills those he waylays. that should pull him from CG, and positioned him into the CE classification (Chaotic evil, no regard for regulation or existence, oftentimes grasping or merciless). that must be a dramtic exchange. Like Anakins exchange from reliable to evil, it became extremely sluggish, and not unexpected, plus he became doing what he theory became impressive. interior the Dragonlance sequence, the character Dhamon Grimwulf abandoned the Knights of Thakisis (an evil order), and grew to become a hero. He became never technically evil, he, extra-or-much less, observed the easy, and ditched the knights. yet later, no longer by his own will, he slays a hero, knon as Goldmoon, a helpful healer, and runs. This became brought about by a dragon that took administration of him. on a similar time as he became nonetheless reliable, he became being controlled/manipulated into doing evil issues.

This is impracticable? Opinions do vary. For example it seems there will be some who would vote the actions of those who piloted aeroplanes into the twin towers in New York "good" while others would vote such "evil". So how would you persuade those who vote for that is "good" that is is NOT? Here in the UK many would vote those yobs who deliberately flout an antisocial banning order as "good" etc. etc.

Whether any enactment is "good" or "evil" is entirely in the eyes of the individual whether the enacter or a beholder of that person's behaviour. So any mark the individual may give on any such scale is exclusively subjective to that individual not to society as a whole..

you raise a very good point and that is that there is no absolute evil or good and they are both relative. Also one of the answers say, good becomes evil when you start enjoying yourself. That is definitely how religion defines it anyway. But, great point

Examine Yourself
[18:103] Say, "Shall I tell you who the worst losers are?
[18:104] "They are the ones whose works in this life are totally astray, but they think that they are doing good."
[18:105] Such are the ones who disbelieved in the revelations of their Lord and in meeting Him. Therefore, their works are in vain; on the Day of Resurrection, they have no weight.
[18:106] Their just requital is Hell, in return for their disbelief, and for mocking My revelations and My messengers.
[18:107] As for those who believe and lead a righteous life, they have deserved a blissful Paradise as their abode.
[18:108] Forever they abide therein; they will never want any other substitute.
The Quran: Everything We Need
[18:109] Say, "If the ocean were ink for the words of my Lord, the ocean would run out, before the words of my Lord run out, even if we double the ink supply."
[18:110] Say, "I am no more than a human like you, being inspired that your god is one god. Those who hope to meet their Lord shall work righteousness, and never worship any other god beside his Lord."

I taught for almost 40 years. I conclude that some children are born evil and no guidence changes their actions. The vast majority are born 'good' but society, parents and peer pressure affects their behaviour. What results lays the pattern for their life.
