Unfortunately, it is true.
Frankly, in regard to the subject religion, denominations, and churches -- deep accurate knowledge may cause a lot of problems for oneself and for the church.

Hi,
Yes, the more knowledge you have, the heavier the burden would be, unless you;re willing to share those knowledge, than it will be lighter. Because i believe knowledge is not for anybody to keep, but it is something to share.
Thank you.
Leon.

The more knowledge of our Lord and Savior, the easier the burden. I used to say that my mind is full. Every time something new comes in (God knowledge), something old (sinful knowledge) had to leave.

That's a matter of perspective. Currently, I feel like life is easier and less stressful now with the knowledge I possess, whereas I used to be somewhat jealous of the blissfully ignorant. Unfortunately I didn't have ENOUGH knowledge at that point to realize that ignorance is NOT bliss. Now, I pity stupid people for their meaningless lives and trouble they put themselves through by being dumb.

yes, it's like saying ignorance in bliss, and it really is. Mark Twain showed it best when he talked about how beautiful the Mississippi river was, until he became a steamboat pilot and learned about the river, after that he everytime he looked at the river he thought about depth and sandbars, not the beauty he used to see. Knowledge may be power but also robs us of something.

Yes it it true more knowledge makes a man more responsible. Similarly scientists are worried of finishing of oil and gas reserves, pollution of air and rivers, finishing of earth water sources, dying of sun, engulfing of earth and many more fears but a lay man is just using them without any problem happily.

Looks like a convenient catch cry for those who must avoid the higher level of understanding that mainstream science offers..
It's just an excuse for ignorance..
