The Israeli army. It is the front line of the battle for the open society where reason and tolerance rule, as opposed to the hatred and prejudice of the surrounding countries ruled by religious dictatorships

Canadian Army or Air Force. They do not have a "military retirement" but they do make enough money, that they can put the extra into a special retirement account that gives them a hefty retirement when they decide to retire. They also have national health care for every one, so they get free health care any way, so there is no need for a Canadian Veterans health care system.

The UK
Isreal
Or really any country that holds the same values as the US
Given a choice I would prefer to fight alongside English speaking people.
As far as all the people who responded with garbage about "I would only fight for my own country", legally no US servicemembers "fight for their country"
US servicemembers are sworn to support and defend "The Constitution" of the US.
They are two different things

thats a tough one because no matter which army you join you would have an automatic natural enemy. i would join north korea or china. it would be great, kick the schoolground bully in the shins then run back to the safety of your 3 million mates. i could take potshots at south koreas army on the border. then if they complained i'd go "hey ******** this is my bro north korea, but have you met my even bigger brother? say hello to china"

I'm British, my choice would be Israel.
It's a tiny country surrounded by hostile Arab neighbours; also, Israel is the only democracy in the Middle East.
