I started having contractions friday morning around 2am, about six minutes apart. Take a warm bath to try to slow them down, did nothing. Fell asleep at 4am with them still six minutes apart. I woke up at 8am and started counting them again. Having contractions 3 to 5 minutes apart. So i called my doctors office and left a message. A nurse called me back and said if they werent painful, then they are probably braxton hicks. The thing is, its two days later, the contraction are still here, but they'll slow down for awhile then speed up again for a few hours. Today ive also had those strange menstral cramps too, like im going to start my period. Im just wondering what i should do. These arent going away, ive had labor stopped twice already and im only 35 and a half week. The nurse said they wont stop me again if i go into labor. So what should i do? Should i try to make it go faster or just let this continue on?

You should get to hospital and get checked over. A phone call from a Nurse cannot diagnose any real problem, you will need a physical check. As you have had the labour stopped twice, both the Doctor and the Nurse should be taking your symptoms seriously. As I said, go to hospital and get checked and seriously consider changing your Doctor. Remember that should there be any complication, sue the a** off both the Doctor and the Nurse for being lazy, incompetent and uncaring bas*ards.

if you are starting to feel period pains then they are probably real contractions now. i gave borth at exactly 36 weeks and my son was perfect. Just trty to hold on another few days. if you feel you're in labor go to the hospital instead of asking the nurse.

Call the docor again and insist on speaking to her, not just the nurse.
