The type of person who does everything for the ego, from the ego, in pursuit of material possesions & status.... and nothing else. The type of person who thinks he or she is here once only & there is no 'after life.' The type of person who comes out with those nauseating phrases like "I work hard & play hard." Yeuk! Someone who is not aware that they are a soul living in a body & that they are a spiritual being having a human experience.

Jon dear, your tea has gone cold now... & its such a beautiful day... wont you put those accounts down? Come outside & put your bare toes in the grass with us?
:-)

An independent study of the spiritual literature permits us to come acroos many cotradictory statements, confusing expressions, and multiple paths for self realization. For example, Academic Awareness where we retain the faculty of mind to arrive at conclusions about transcendental phenomena, which in itself is a contradiction.A relative faculty of the human mind cannot serve to comprehend an absolute phenomenon. On the basisof such fragmentary information we are tempted to form opinions which are invariably flawed and divorced from reality. Such misinformation of query implies a duality between us(individualself) and Almighty. The knowledge of the self is incomplete as long as this duality remains within us. Such named duality between us and Almighty can be termed as "Spirituality unconscious" I thank to the questioner to ask very important question about Spirituality.

followers of the bible. They are brainwashed to believe that they are spiritually conscious, but what they really are, are zombies. The followers of Organised Religion are just zombie sheep who have no real perspective on personal spirituality. personal spirituality can only be obtained through a free and open mind, organised religion keeps the mind closed, thus making the sheep unconscious to the truth. Their conscience self is in permanent imprisonment, denied free thought. emancipation of the conscience is the only way to find the true path to spirituality! and the answers to existance!

Like your first responder noted, we're basically a club and I feel more at ease here with these folks than I do in any of the other sections. We're anal that way; what can we say? Spiritually speaking, of course.

Those that do not believe that they are spirits having an physical, earthly experience.

If you believe that worms eat you after you die and that's it, then it is a very great shame, since it shows that you are a person without hope for there being anything better for the human race.

No one & everyone.
As consciousness shifts from one moment to the next becoming spiritually conscious can happen instantaneously or that consciousness may be buried so deeply inside that one is oblivious to it.

Spirituality is a religious concept and, therefore, has no connection to reality.

Generally speaking it is someone who is unaware of/unawakened to their reality, their spiritual self, though no one is constantly conscious of it. Constancy in this regard is not an attribute of humanity.
