One thing that I usually do when I have a dream like that is, immediately after I wake up I write as much of the dream down that I can remember then when I'm truely awake I look back through it and try to relate the dream to things that are going on in my life at the moment or even things that might have happened in the recent past or that will even happen in the future... I've also had dreams like that where I'm in an ancient city but everyone tells me that's just my subconscious mind going into a past life or something... Interesting stuff though. good luck!

I like it when I wake up in the morning from a dream, but am still groggy and in-between dreaming and awake. By then, if I can realize that I'm dreaming, I can take control and make the dream into whatever I want!

I never have dreams like that. I always know I'm dreaming. Sometimes I'm even able to control the dream, this is called lucient dreaming. Usually I let the dream run its course, many times I wish a dream were reality and I didn't have to wake. But I've never had a dream I thought was real.

Yes, I've had them many times. Have you ever considered that such dreams are evidence of another reality? While in that state, it is not less real than when we are in the waking state.

Those who say it's merely neurons firing, that's correct. The same can be said of our experience in the waking state. Our experience of everything is mediated by the physical brain.

Also, have you dreamed of something that happens later exactly as it happened in the dream?

In terms of interpretation, I think that it's the content of the dream rather than it's clarity that's the key. I do wonder myself though if it does mean something when the dream seems "real". Here's a link for you

It may be a premonition of something. It may have psychological meanings. Maybe you can consult a dream book or a psychologist or other resources you feel comfortable with.

who's to say real life is not of equal importance than our dreams that are so real to us?

take what you will from it... after all you made it yourself.... so you must be able to decode it..... don't look at exactly what happened... look for symbolisms... but not what other people think they mean.... what do they mean to you???

very good advice parthelion
