To those who actually cook, what is the fastest way to get rid of the painful sensation? I tried ice and even dipping my hands in sugar but it doesn't work. Appreciate any known solution.

not sure about sugar, but anything with fat will help. i've answered this question a few times, and one time, one person said my answer worked. i mentioned using anything with fat, so milk, any kind of cheap cooking oil, yogurt, ice cream. she said she used milk, then corn oil, then milk again.
