Ladyeagle, you are the most sweet and sincere person I know. I know that you have the utmost concern for those reading your question.
As you once said. If not on earth, then in the sky.
Your best friend and sister in Christ.

I dont understand why its considered egotistic when it comes to God. We know God exists, and if you read the Bible, which I am sure you do, we know that there are other "flocks" , according to Jesus. Now he didnt say where his other flocks are. As far as we know, there are other people on other planets. But thats not our concern. What we should be concerned about is how we treat other people here on earth.. And what I have observed from this site and from the way some people in this world treat others, we may miss the boat altogether. I try to make this life as fulfilling as possible without hurting my body, or without stepping on other peoples toes. Before anyone thinks i mean them, please stop and ask yourself......".Do I help others to be happy? " If the answer is yes,,, and you are happy with your life,, then you are well on the way to catching the ship which Christ will return in.
Have a good day everyone. I know I am

The question? Is it one that entices one to do as you request or does it cause others to be drawn to the negative of the Gospel? First, they do not understand the Holy Spirit..Second, If they are to learn, it will come from the teacher..They need to know that everyone who is born, is born unbelievers..If they are to have faith, it will come by their hearing the word of God. When their faith is applied, then, they will see the Holy Spirit at work and It is He who will guide them into all truth.. It is the Holy Spirit that anoints them to be kings of Christ and prepares them for The coming kingdom of Christ and His reign on this earth. By anyone receiving His Spirit, they are no longer children of darkness and of bondage to sin but Children of the most high God. But if they refuse the light of the Gospel of Christ, they willingly forfeit their rights as true kings and forfeit their rights to enter into this 1000 year reign of the Lord Jesus Christ on this earth. Now this is what one needs to know and something they can believe in.. Understand that Jesus worked miracles by people believing in him and those who doubted never saw them and the same applies to this day and hour..

"Egotisticle" sounds like something from the "Phantom Tollbooth" sort of like "Look out Milo, It's the Personality Demon! quick, kick it in the egotisticles!"
anyway, I'm still looking for my own personal truth thank you very much and it's got nothing to do with me being Egotistical (note the spelling!). You use the word "encourage" but you started the post by goading people- what's up with that? You'll never get recruits that way......................

If you are reading this I suggest you start reading your bible seriously and asking some hard questions about it.
Honestly, if you think that I don't buy your religion because of pride, vanity, fear or rebelliousness you honestly need to learn a whole lot more about life and an huge amount more about your religion.
Here, yopu likely believe that the pilgrims made the trip to Massachusetts to escape persecution. Do you know what they believed and why they got chased out of England for it.
Do you know what they set their colony up like, why they hanged witches at Salem or why they hanged Quakers in the 1760s, just before the Revolution.
No, you need to learn more yourself and pray to your God for understanding.
The atheists are fine.

I know your deep concern for our welfare and we too yours. It is not about egotistical but the truth which you and I seek or believe in. You see if you put aside your belief of your faith for a while and come to our Reality for a while then I think you will see that you have been deceive by all this. ( while when you have been faith full you have been trick of your trust and hope of your beliefs)
It is because of your innocence and hope that you have fall into this faith. You are not alone for there is millions others . And it is spread all over the world. All is not lost yet for I am here to guide you back to the real world if only you reject this faith. Just for a while, dear, and if you think that you still prefer the faith you are in now, you can go back. No hard feelings,we understand.
After you know the truth you might curse the so called Savior but you must restrain and be calm for we are peace full people just like the people in this forum.
So let me help you to Reality.

I'm afraid, yes, but fear doesn't stop me from seeing what's there. I've read the bible and found it lacking. I think the one you call Christ isn't the Christ. I ask God for understanding, and all I get is silence. I'll keep trying. Does God always answer your prayers immediately?

Are you so egotistical that you believe the entire universe was made by an omnipotent deity just for your benefit? I could never be that arrogant. Atheism means accepting your true place in the universe, as a product of unthinking natural processes on one small planet in a vast universe which neither knows nor cares about our existence.

Everybody do what I'm doing.
That is what Christians do.
Atheists don't do this.
And it is not ego we just don't believe
in fictional stories. We are not scared that their maybe a God. The Christians are the ones who fear, I mean if I don't do this then I will be going to hell. That is your own fears, why are you trying to turn the tables on Atheists it will not work.

I think a god powerful enough to create an entire universe wouldn't make such a guessing game out of finding him.
Messiah: You say God is omnipotent, but if he requires faith to do his works, doesn't that take away from his power?
